The system uses AI robotic sorting, accelerated biological conversion, and shared ownership so local waste companies profit from efficiency rather than just hauling material to the landfill.
Public-private partnership that enables true single-stream collection through AI-guided robotic sorting, then converts residual organics into a pumpable slurry processed in regional hubs near existing natural gas pipelines. Controlled heat, enzymes, specialized bacteria, and continuous stirring extract far more methane, far faster than conventional landfills. Upgraded gas is injected into the pipeline network. Stabilized solids become consistent “helper-fuel” pellets for existing incinerators. Local garbage companies receive ownership stakes so incentives align across the value chain.

Temporary RFID tags provide perfect ground-truth labels while multi-signal sensors (near-infrared, X-ray, radio-frequency / terahertz) generate unique material fingerprints. Robotic manipulators or precision air jets divert each item; RFID immediately verifies accuracy and feeds errors back for rapid retraining. Once target accuracy is reached, RFID tags are removed and the system runs on pure sensor data. Designed to produce clear, reproducible performance metrics that industry operators and federal funders can trust.
